It's so very true! My son rarely watches TV and I don't watch my TV ON the TV so... when he sang the ditty for some commercial one time he had it on TreeHouse I was like ok... the TV's going OFF!!! It wasn't all that serious cause it was the kid channel and yeah they have great memories and can recite stuff they hear once but still... lol I think some people get annoyed when I'm at their house and I ask if they can change the channel or turn it off when there is something inappropriate on. Even if my son isn't paying attention to the TV, if he hears something interesting he'll turn to watch so... I hope they don't take it personal. When people question it... I just tell them that there's so many things we can't control or that we have no choice about that when it's something I CAN control or when I do have a choice, I try to choose wisely.
